Experiential AR Experience

To launch the high-octane action film Bullet Train, starring Brad Pitt as the unlucky assassin Ladybug, we set out to create a fan experience that was as thrilling and unpredictable as the movie itself.

The film centers around a single briefcase the target of Ladybug’s mission which pulls him into a chaotic web of assassins, all aboard the world’s fastest train. It’s fast, deadly, and full of unexpected twists.

Our idea? Let fans step inside that world.
We created an augmented reality experience that digitally recreated the Bullet Train itself. Using their phones, participants could explore a virtual replica of the train, moving through its carriages in search of the briefcase just like Ladybug. Each carriage held surprises, distractions, and red herrings, but only one briefcase was the real deal.

Those who found it won exclusive Bullet Train merchandise, turning the activation into a mix of scavenger hunt and immersive storytelling. It gave fans a first-person taste of the movie’s adrenaline minus the assassins.
